a walk in the park
We had one of those weekends where we worked on a job that we’d been talking about working on but never quite found the time to do. But all work and no play makes for work. And the weekends need to be about more than work. So to balance things out we took advantage of a beautiful day on Sunday to get out together as a family and go to the park.
We packed up Tony and went for a stroll around Centennial Park in Howard County. Tony got to watch the birds, geese, ducks, and dogs. As well as the people walking, biking, jogging, roller skating, and playing basketball. These are the photos from our first family walk in the park.

Arriving at the park finds Tony fast asleep.

Why did you wake me from my nap?

And just why do you think I need that hat? Because I said so isn’t cutting it!

Even though I didn’t want the hat, I got it anyway.

Do you ever put that camera away, Daddy?

The last smile I could get out of Tony.
