Not everyone who owns and uses a Leica is a retired, anal retentive doctor. Some of use love and use these cameras for the beautiful photographs they make. Among other things, this site is dedicated to those of us who love and use our Leica's to make photographs and not for those who are collectors. Nothing wrong with collecting, but these percision cameras where meant to be used not locked away in boxes somewhere.

Leica MPThe photograph at the top was taken in October of 2006 at Brighton Dam, not to far from where I live in Maryland. I used my Hasselblad XPan II with 45mm lens and Kodak Ektachrome E100VS. I had an earlier shot I did from the same point a few years ago with my Leica MP and 24mm Elmarit ASPH, but I had to "stretch" the image to fit across the top of the page and it didn't look too good.

my love

NilsaAnd of course, I want to mention my beautiful wife, Nilsa. Where would I be without her. This woman makes my life so much better by being in it. I just don't know where to begin. She is the one I am meant to be with. I cherish her and every moment I can spend with her.

our son

Anthony Luke in the parkThis beautiful little boy is the love of both Nilsa and I. He was born on 15 December 2007 and we were instantly in love with him. He is such a sweet baby and we are very blessed to have in our lives.
